Here, nature and culture coexist in harmony.
Rolling green mountains embrace the village,
A stream flows gently through,
Smoke curls from kitchen chimneys,
Delicate Dong fabrics flutter in the breeze,
And time drifts by at a leisurely pace.

千余戶陸姓族人聚居
五大房族“仁義禮智信”分居五團(tuán)
守護(hù)共同的傳統(tǒng)
Here, a thousand years of culture flows.
A millennium of Dong heritage continues,
With over a thousand households of the Lu clan residing here.
The five major family branches—Ren (Benevolence), Yi (Righteousness), Li (Courtesy), Zhi (Wisdom), and Xin (Integrity)—
Each settle in one of the five village divisions,
Guarding their shared traditions.

琵琶聲蟬歌踩堂歌交織
侗戲演繹古老傳說
The polyphonic Dong Grand Song,
Performed without conductor or accompaniment,
Resonates with both nature and the human spirit.
The sounds of pi-pa lutes, cicada songs, and Caitang stepping songs intertwine,
While Dong opera brings ancient legends to life.

榫卯建筑書寫千年智慧
群山環(huán)抱的褶皺中
5座鼓樓如巨杉破土而立
象征團(tuán)結(jié)與秩序
風(fēng)雨橋橫跨溪流
既是通行之橋
亦是情感紐帶
Here, mortise-and-tenon architecture tells a story of ancient wisdom.
Amid the folds of mountain ridges,
Five towering drum towers rise like giant cedars,
Symbolizing unity and order.
A wind-and-rain bridge spans the stream,
Not just a passageway,
But a bond of emotions and community.
這里是肇興侗寨
一個(gè)讓心靈棲居的地方
This is Zhaoxing Dong Village—
A place where the soul finds its home.
