exemplifying a unique landscape.

最終擇雷公山麓這片依山傍水的河谷緩坡定居

 

Tightly interwoven with the Miao people's migration,

the Xijiang branch of the Miao ethnic group, 

finally settled in the fertile valley slopes at the foot of Leigong Mountain.

苗族農(nóng)耕、節(jié)日、銀飾、歌舞

及其遺風古俗在這里世代相傳

 

For centuries, Miao agricultural traditions, 

festivals, silver craftsmanship, and folk performances 

have been passed down here.

 

擁有苗族蘆笙舞、苗年、苗繡等

10多項國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)

具有“露天博物館”“中國最美的苗寨”等美稱

 

The village is home to over ten national-level intangible 

cultural heritage items, including the Miao Lusheng dance, 

Miao New Year, and Miao embroidery, 

earning it the titles of "Open-air Ethnographic Museum" and

 "China’s Most Beautiful Miao Village."

At nightfall, the viewing platform reveals
a luminous tapestry of mountains, stilted houses,
wind-and-rain bridges, and shimmering waters,
evoking Miyazaki's animated masterpiece.
