全寨現(xiàn)有1468戶、6000余人，99.5%為苗族村民。千余座吊腳樓依山而建，氣勢恢宏；白水河穿寨而過，將西江苗寨一分為二，形成“山水樓田共生”的壯麗景觀。

 

The village comprises 1,468 households with over 6,000 residents, 99.5% of whom are indigenous Miao people. Thousands of stilted houses cascade down the mountainsides, encircled by undulating peaks. The Baishui River bisects the village, forging a majestic landscape where mountains, waters, architecture, and terraced fields coexist in harmony.

 

 

作為世界最大的苗族聚居地，西江千戶苗寨擁有深厚的苗族文化底蘊(yùn)。這里匯聚了苗年、苗繡、銀飾鍛造等13項(xiàng)國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)。苗年以“長桌宴”為盛，數(shù)百米宴席延展村寨；苗繡以色彩濃烈、紋樣古樸著稱，銀飾工藝精湛，“銀匠村”遠(yuǎn)近聞名。

 

As the world's largest Miao community, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village safeguards profound cultural legacies. The Miao New Year culminates in the iconic "Long Table Feast," where banquet tables stretch hundreds of meters through the village. Miao embroidery dazzles with vibrant hues and archaic motifs, while the village's silver artisans—honed through generations—have earned its reputation as the Silver Artisans' Village.

 

當(dāng)暮色浸染群山，吊腳樓的輪廓被萬盞燈火勾勒，層層疊疊的星光墜入河谷，與橫跨河面的風(fēng)雨橋交相輝映。這般奇幻景象，恰似走進(jìn)了宮崎駿筆下《千與千尋》的世界。

 

At dusk, as twilight bathes the mountains, thousands of lanterns outline the stilted houses. Cascading starlight reflects in the river valley, intertwining with the illuminated wind-and-rain bridges arching over the water.
